Mechanical 3D Designer Drafter Consultant
I am a individual professional in Mechanical Design and Drafting. I have experience creating 3D models in Solidworks and then convert to 2D orthographic working drawing with full ANSI specifications. I have 20 years of professional experience in Mechanical and Structural design/drafting. In addition, I create professional 3D rendering and animations. I primarily use Solidworks 2012 and Autocad 2008 for all design and drafting work including renderings and animations. I have worked and/or working on many undisclosed projects using Solidworks.
Experienced and trained in all phases of drafting and design, including implementing drawing packages from concept to product release. Experience in layout work in both structural and mechanical. Conform to ANSI Y14.5 including Geometric Tolerance and AISC standard drafting practices. Technical Engineering knowledge: Static stress analysis computations, Trigonometric and Geometric calculations, and Torque and Horse power calculations. General knowledge of engineering static’s, dynamics and other engineering principles.

Present Employment: I am currently working on 3 undisclosed projects for 3 undisclosed clients using Solidworks 2012. First project is a new undisclosed design and currently working a patent. Second project is cutting edge commercial lighting design. Third project is new tooling for speaker systems.
Solidworks Drafter (Temp Contract Work)
I worked with a team of Engineers and Drafters for critical components for a water desalination project (disclosed). Solidworks 2012 was used for creating models and drawings. This project is mechanical in nature with critical dimensional tolerances and GD&T.
Sept 2011, CNG-Design LLC, San Jose, CA
CNG Design hired me as a temp position working on a exciting new energy
efficient internal combustion engine project . This design is mechanical
in nature and will greatly benefit automotive industry among other gas
powered applications. Experience includes Solidworks modeling of spur
gears, track rollers, pins, complex crank shaft, and internal combustion
engine parts. Tolerance analysis was critical in this project. Detail
drawings of machining parts were created. This is a prototype project in
which precision was priority. Solidworks animation was the final step
for marketing purposes.
